"The Dogcatcher" Ray's Hell-Burger Rosslyn, VA

House trimmed beef patty with roasted bone marrowon a brioche bun with all the fixings. The burger was pretty good, but the meat lacked outstanding grilled meat flavor perhaps a lack of S&P on the patty. The roasted bone marrow was the real standout on this burger lending the deep meaty flavor and really made the burger stand out. Cooked medium the patty was very juicy and caused the bun to literally melt away. It all built up to a pretty good meal, didn't hurt there was a Bells Two Hearted Ale (IPA) to was it all down.

Yanagi Sushi

This dish is the Flaming Phoenix and features soft shell crab, green mussels wrapped inside salamon and baked. Amazing! Served with ponzu sauce and sriraccha.

Chili Dog - Ben's Chili Bowl

This is a classic joint in DC on Ust near 14th NW. They serve up allsorts of wholesome goodness, this is the Chili Half-smoke. A spicy smoled link sausage grilled up, with white onions, mustard, and a whole lot a chili. What not to love, could use some cheese, but didn't really miss it. Cash only and avoid peak times if you don't want to wait an hour.

Peruvian Lunch - Mi Rico Peru

Eating lunch at Mi Rico Peru somewhere near alexandria, VA. Found this little peruvian restaurant driving around. The dish is limo Saltado a little sweet, mildly spiced with a rich gravy The meat was well marinated and very tender without any gristle. Served with french fries and rice, thought it would be the other way around (with the meat and gravy on the rice and fries on the side.) All in all a pretty tasty lunch for $10 plus an inca kola
